California Bay Area Patriot Guard Riders
About the PGR: Founded in 2005 to shied families of fallen heroes from those who would disrupt their loved ones’ services, the Patriot Guard Riders now has thousands of members across all 50 states. We are an all volunteer organization, and our mission has expanded to honor both military veterans and first responders. Our Help On The Homefront (HOTH) program also provides vital assistance to veterans and their families. As we grow, so does our dedication to respecting those who serve.
Our Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring dignify and respect at memorial services honoring Fallen Military Heros, First Responders, and honorably discharged Veterans.
Our Vision: The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles: an unwavering respect for those who risk their lives for America’s freedom and security, including Fallen Military Heros, First Responders, and honorable discharged Veterans, If you share this respect, please join us. We don’t care what you ride, if you at all, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect. Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family.
Membership: We often receive questions like, “How do I join, and what is required?” Becoming a member of the PGR is simple. Just log on to patriotguard.org and create an account. There are no dues or fess to join, and anyone can join us-there’s no requirement to be a veteran or own a motorcycle. The only requirement is respect for our military, veterance, and first responders, as well as a commitment to honoring them and their families.
